My little one loves to help me in making Homemade Pizza...So we made a Vegetarian Pizza which was amazing :)
Ingredients
10-11 ounce Pizza dough (You could make the dough at home as I do or buy it from any bakery)
2 diced tomatoes
1/2 diced green capsicum
1/2 diced Zucchini
1/2 diced onion
2 cups shredded Pizza cheese
2 tablespoon Parmesan Cheese
To make the Pizza sauce
1 tin ground tomato / Cut 6 fresh tomato and grind them
1 teaspoon of Dried Parsley
Salt to taste
Chilli powder (if you prefer it to be spicy)
Method:
Making Pasta sauce
In a pan add the ground tomatoes.
Add Parsley, salt to taste and chilli powder and mix well.
Leave on a low flame for atleaset for 25 minutes until the water disappears and it become a thick sauce.
Making the Pizza
Turn on the oven to 425 Degrees.
With your hand unroll the pizza dough.
Roll it to make a circle or press it into the pan, building up the edges to make a rim.
Put pizza pan in the oven. Bake for about 12 minutes until crust is light brown. Then remove and keep it on the cooling rack.
Make sure while baking to keep some weight in the middle like green gram or anything so that the middle doesn't raise up.
Cut the vegetables and set aside.
Now take the prepared pizza sauce and carefully pour the mixture over the crust using a spoon. Then add a layer of the pizza cheese. The then layer the vegetables.
Now add another layer of the pizza cheese and the Parmesan cheese.
Keep it in the oven for 12 - 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Remove from oven.
Use the pizza cutter to cut the pizza into wedges.
