When you have kids nothing like getting them involved when you're cooking. They would be the best help you could get:) French toast is a very simple and easy to make recipe...Aaron loves to make them and also relishes eating them :)

Ingredients:

Pinch of salt to bring out the flavor.
2 tablespoons of butter
6 slices of firm-textured white bread
Powdered icing sugar
Slices strawberries/ blueberries/ peaches/grapes

Method:

Crack the egg into mixing bowl. Beat with the rotary beater until the yolks and whites are mixed together.

Add milk and mix well.

Add pinch of cinnamon & Salt.

Beat until ingredients are mixed well.

Put half of the butter in the pan on a burner. Turn the burner in to medium heat and let the butter melt.

Dip one slice of bread into egg mixture.

Turn bread over with a pancake turner to coat the other side.

Put coated bread in the pan.

Cook until bottoms are light brown and then turn the bread over.

Now put them on the plate and garnish them using powdered icing sugar and the fruits as you wish.
